ISREAL 12 DAY TOUR

DAY 1

Flight to Tel Aviv

DAY 2

Arrival in Tel Aviv

  • Shuttle from Ben Gurion Airport to Jerusalem. Arrive in Jerusalem, drop off luggage, freshen up. Orientation – Old City and West Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 3

Drive to Jericho believed to be the oldest city on earth. Pass Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found (no entrance). Dead Sea – Sail on the Sea Of Galilee in a wooden boat

  • Overnight in Tiberias / Ha’amakim area

 

DAY 4

Tabgha for the Church of the Multiplication where Jesus fed the multitudes.
The Ancient town of Capernaum and the “House of Peter”.
Mt. of Beatitudes – the scene of the Sermon on the Mount.
Yardenit Baptism Site (Jordan River)
Mt. Tavor

  • Overnight in Tiberias/ Ha’

DAY 5

Cana Of Galilee and the Wedding church.  Nazareth, visit of Basilica of the Annunciation 
Haifa port city including Elijah’s cave at Stella Marris 
Overview of Bahai Gardens 
Caesarea – view the remains of the aqueduct built during the Byzantine period.
Travel back to Jerusalem.

  • In the evening we will have Festive Ceremony with our Israeli Partner with certificate and Jerusalem Pilgrim badge.

DAy 6

Old City – Christian/Armenian/Jewish/ Muslim quarters/ Western Wall Complex/King David City

  • Walking tour of the Holy sites

DAY 7

St Peter in Gallicantu/King David’s Tomb/Upper Room/Church of Dormition – (Mt Zion)

  • Walking tour of the Holy sites

DAy 8

Kidron Valley/Mount of Olives/ Tomb of the Prophets/Dominus Flevit/ Church of Ascension/ Pater Noster

  • Walking tour of the Holy sites

DAY 9

Church of Flagellation/ Pools of Bethesda / Church of Condemnation/ Via Dolorosa / Holy Sepulchre/Garden Tomb

  • Walking tour of the Holy sites

DAy 10

Yad Vashem/Mt Hertzl/Mehane Yehudah Market

  • Light rail and Walking tour

Flight back to South Africa
